Officers – Our Lady of Perpetual Hope Council #6891

Our officers are elected each spring to lead the council for the following year. The Officers are responsible for the management of the council and protection of our financial assets. All officers are elected except for the Past Grand Knight, who moves into the position after finishing his term as Grand Knight, the Financial Secretary, who is appointed by the Supreme Knight, and the Chaplain and Lecturer, who are appointed by the Grand Knight.

Council Structure

The Knights of Columbus international headquarters is located in New Haven, Connecticut. Led by the Supreme Knight, Patrick Kelly, the chief executive officer of the Knights, the office provides administrative support and leadership for our more than 15,000 local units.

The Supreme Council has more than 75 state council organizations to help guide regional activities that are consistent with the principles of the Order. Our council is part of the South Carolina State Council, and our State Deputy is Paul Burchell.

Each state council is divided into districts - groupings of several local councils. Our council is part of District #7, and our current District Deputy is Dr. Rick Swain.
